In a boarding school, the staff have more time to understand the development of the boys.
The boys belong to several groups. Their house group includes members of the same family and boys of mixed ages. Boys of the same age mix in dorm and class groups. Boys with similar interests come together in sporting, cultural and recreational groups.
Looking after the boys are the Head Master, the Matron, the House Master and the Form Teacher. There are regular meetings with professional school counsellors so that any issues that may arise are quickly identified and monitored.
Ensuring a happy, healthy environment in which the boys enjoy learning is central to the School's ethos. It is easy for children to approach the staff with their problems or concerns. The medical and religious staff supports the boys according to their needs.
Before arrival, the boys join a buddy system. older boys or boys from the same geographical areas are given the care of the newcomers, ensuring that the first days are a positive experience.
Individual tutorials are given to students, if needed.
